ADULT EDUCATION WITH RABBI MICKEY BAUM Have your children ever asked you these questions and you were unable or unsure how to answer? Have you ever asked similar questions about Judaism? Join me for a 4 part adult ed class covering topics such as the Jewish view of G-d, The Hebrew Bible, Jewish practices, holidays, anti-Semitism, death and why are we different. While each part can be a “stand alone” segment, I encourage you to join me for all 4 parts. Monday February 12th 7:30 - 9:00pm I – G-d: The Jewish view What’s in the Hebrew Bible? Wednesday March 14th 7:30 – 9:00pm ** NOTE NEW DATE ** II - Anti-Semitism (why do some people hate?) Jew & non-Jew (why are we different?) Adult B'nei Mitzvah Info Meeting Nov 27
Is it true you never became a Bar/Bat Mitzvah? You’re not alone! It’s never too late to celebrate your Jewish coming of age! Many adults at Temple Beth Am never had the opportunity to become a Bar/Bat Mitzvah and several have asked me to start a new adult B’nei Mitzvah class. If you are interested, there will be an informational meeting about the class on Monday November 27th at 7:30pm. We will meet in the sanctuary. At that time, I will discuss all aspects of this wonderful opportunity to participate in this awesome and fulfilling journey. Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting. Rabbi Mickey Baum |
