Torah for Tots (Sunday Morning Program for 3 & 4 year olds)

This will be my 21st year teaching Torah for Tots at Temple Beth Am. I love each and every tot that comes into my classroom. They each bring their own "fun" to the class. Siblings and best friends join the class. I enjoy watching the tots grow from being quiet and not knowing the grape juice and challah blessings in September and to being fun and inquisitive by May. I love hearing from the parents that the tots recite the blessings on Friday nights and know all about the holidays and bible stories just from being in the class. They sing the songs we learn and ask for more. Each year seems to get better and better. The best is that when these children go into K, 1 and 2nd grades and come to visit me.

Our Torah for Tots Program is sponsored by the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Am. Torah for Tots is designed to be an informal program for children 3-4 years of age with previous experience in group settings without the parent being present. Torah for Tots provides the children with the basic understanding of Jewish holidays and customs through arts and crafts, music, storytelling and more.

Calendar and Times
Approximately 24 sessions beginning September 8, 2019 including a Tot Shabbat Service
Sundays 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Location: Temple Beth Am Room #6


Fees
$75 (Temple members)
$100 (Non-temple members)
$50 (Each additional child)
